Always a warm welcome. Regular changing ales including a lot of local/regional ones as well as your staple lagers and craft beers. Great wine selection too. The street food on a Thursday night is nice too. Pool table and genial atmosphere!
A real Community Pub with a proper soul. The beer garden is lovely and has a nice atmosphere. Staff are super friendly.
Fantastic community owned pub, keeps winning awards 👏 I attend the monthly 'Thumbs' walks on a Sunday organised by Tony & Sue, can't think a better way of spending a Sunday. Sandwiches & great beer after an informative walk around the Marple area.

Great space, great beer great staff, community owned what's not to love
A jazz band was playing at the front and there were tables in the sun. Great community ownership and nice range of ales: Timothy Taylor's was a featured beer that afternoon. Stalls outside selling food and sweet stuff. All making an excellent atmosphere
